Globalization and technology have led to the homogenization of your life, and now you crave locally made and authentic experiences. Contrived, packaged tourism is not for you.

Locals are! Locals are the ultimate shopping deal hunters, they know the best local winemakers, can organise gondola lessons in Venice and pastry-making in France. They have those connections. Travel is not just about seeing the Eiffel Tower or the Colosseum. It’s about learning how to make homemade Tuscan cuisine, tiramisu or balsamic vinegar, meeting the winemakers and chefs, or biking secret local's trails.

Siamo creates and links extra-ordinary experiences, with ‘approved’ local guides, for independent people. We take all the headaches out of independent experiential travel, provide guidance when needed, but stay at arms length to give you independence. We give you flexibility to do your own thing, and not to be with people you don't know, or connect you with real locals (with like-minded values to you) when needed for authentic, off the beaten track, journeys and adventures that can’t be found in Guide Books or on Trip Advisor.

Siamo Travel: Stories to Tell and Experiences to Share
About Us » Why Travel With Siamo

Do Something Different, Go Somewhere Unique, Try Something Unusual.

‘We are’ travel redefined. We love our wine and food, big mountains and secluded beaches and lots of old stuff (history).

Memories are about the sum of really impactful individual moments and we have discovered though our own travels that it’s the little things, like the perfect Chianti at sunset during a long summer evening in Tuscany, or those bitter strong coffees that make you hairs stand on end in a truly local French cafe that really make the difference – we live and explore in the 'now', and encourage you to truly experience every moment of time you are adventuring.

We live for travelling – have loved doing it for ourselves, have loved doing it with our families, love doing it for our business’s, and now we love sharing it with friends. That is why our group sizes are small because we don't believe in the bums of seats tour mentality.  It is much more like a group of friends hanging out with a local, getting authentic meaningful experiences.

Where you tuck yourself in each night is important to us – a good nights rest means a great day skiing or biking, exploring or adventuring, so we want you to have the best we can find. We combine boutique hotels and apartments depending on the destination and your requirements. We have set some pretty high standards for our chosen accommodation and all are situated within a manageable distance from town, have exceptional service, offer a unique local feel and are the best possible value for money.

Whichever your choice, rest assured that we have done the grunt work to find you only the very best options to choose from!

Who Travels With Siamo?

You do! If you value social interactions and shared experiences with a handful rather than a bus full, and you appreciate getting closer to the locals and experiencing unique and meaningful travel then Siamo is for you. Siamo is about lasting enduring memories where moments in time become stories to share for years to come. Your passion to share this with your friends and family make you an ideal Siamo Traveller!

Don’t think about the logistics, just focus on experiencing and having a blast.  We take the guesswork and the hassle out of your trip organisation, leaving you to focus on the important job of enjoying yourself and learning as much as possible along the way.  Siamo trips are not pre-packaged one size fits all semi solutions. That's why you can't purchase a trip in real-time on our website. We believe we need to talk to every one of our customers before they travel with us so that we can make sure we are providing you with the experience that actually fits your expectations.  If we're going to hang out together like mates for a few weeks then we need to make sure we understand just what it is you want to experience!

About us who travel with us

We won’t crowd you, or rush you from sight to sight – we’ll explore with you and bring you directly into the heart of an attraction or destination. With smaller groups you’ll appreciate the extra time available for you to soak in the local atmosphere while on your adventure. Although we always have a schedule in mind we are flexible to change our days as circumstances allow. Often on our ski trips the legs are a bit tired or the wine at lunch too good so groups might elect for a little long lunch at one of the many "refugios" (awesome mountain restaurants). On our journeys it is often possible to spend a bit longer in a town and take a later train simply because we are having too good a time wandering the shops or lazing by the pool.
